#body #power #energy #flow #play #wellness . Truth is – the body knows. Knows when. Knows how. Knows what. What to do and when for you (or me) to have the most free, flowing, healthy life there is. . I’ve been on quite a journey with my soma (my body) these ten years. How I’ve resisted her whisperings (and yells). How I’ve withheld love from Her – thinking ‘NO! I can’t do what you ask of me, because then my life won’t look like it SHOULD’. And how I’ve relinquished, over time, with a softened heart. How I’ve seen, in doing so, that nothing but love and wisdom flows from my physical being and Her guidance. . How I kneel, now, each morning, at the alter of my body’s knowings. Sometimes she wants stillness, sometimes rampant movement or activity. Often she likes play and she desires, always, to be hand in hand with my intuition. . Here’s me playing with this incredible vessel I live in. She’s my best friend, after all, as long as I let her be. . Listening to the body’s guidance; this is always the way of healing and wellness.
